The table above shows the dates of the exams – you can register for each one 48 hours in advance (working days). The 48-hour period is required for official registration of applicants.
You can choose the exam in your own language. If this is not possible, choose a language you know at least at A2 level for Basis exam and B1 level for VOL VCA exam.

Your company is given an opportunity to participate in an interesting and challenging project in the area of construction, petro or similar. Naturally it is then important that you can demonstrate that your employees work safely and responsibly. Small mistakes can have large consequences, especially in high-risk operational activities. It is only natural that the client, and certainly yourself, want to minimise the chances of accidents.
A VCA diploma is an advantage
The VCA certificate is the way to demonstrate to clients that your employees work responsibly and safely. A VCA diploma, or Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Checklist Contractors certificate, is obtained by taking a so-called VCA exam. Not every project or client requires a VCA diploma, but it is considered an advantage in many sectors. The certificate is therefore the way to show that your employees can carry out the outsourced work safely. They are aware of how not to endanger themselves as well as their colleagues and the environment.
VCA Exams – languages and prices
Basis VCA, VOL-VCA and VIL-VCU exams are available in several languages.
Basis VCA – standard and standard plus languages are: Dutch, English, German, French, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish, Hungarian, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Lithuanian, Arabic, Bulgarian, Greek, Croatian, Italian, Slovak and Ukrainian. On each date you will find the current prices. Prices depend on the language you choose.

The VOL VCA languages are English, Dutch, German and French. The price is €95 ex VAT.
The VIL VCU exam can only be taken in Dutch and English. The price is € 95 ex VAT

Open exams are held every month at various exam locations throughout the Netherlands. You can easily register yourself or your employee(s) for this.
