Description

BHV training, or company emergency response, is an essential training for companies and organizations in the Netherlands. During this training, employees are trained in providing first aid, fire prevention and evacuation. The purpose of the emergency response training is to ensure that employees know how to act in emergency situations such as fire, accidents or medical emergencies.

BHV training is mandatory for companies and organizations in the Netherlands and is given by certified trainers. The training consists of both theoretical and practical exercises and teaches participants the skills necessary to ensure the safety of themselves and others. After successfully completing the emergency response training, participants receive a certificate that is valid for two years.

An in-house emergency officer is responsible for fighting a starting fire, providing First Aid and supervising an evacuation. In the context of the Working Conditions legislation, it is important that the employer provides an in-house emergency officer for customers and employees. If you employ staff, you are obliged to designate at least one person as an in-house emergency officer who is always present within your company.

After completing the emergency response training, participants receive a certificate that is valid for two years. It is important that employers ensure that the emergency response plan is regularly tested and updated to ensure that the plan is up-to-date and meets the requirements of the Working Conditions Act.
