VCA courses are regularly held on Saturdays in Nijmegen – current open course dates are available on the VCA course website.

VCA exams are organised regularly throughout the Netherlands, several per week. The current dates of the open exams are available on the VCA exams website.

To take part in a course that concludes with an exam, or the exam itself, you must carry a valid identity document (the document cannot expire on the day of the exam).

PLEASE NOTE!

The following are considered valid documents:

1) a valid passport
2) ID card

If there are more than 48 hours (on weekdays) until the exam date, the exam can be

  1. Cancelled and you will receive a refund of all fees incurred at no additional cost.
  2. Postponed without any additional costs

If you wish to cancel the exam which takes place in less than 48 hours, you will not receive a refund.

If you are late for:

  1. A course – try to inform us of the delay. If this is not possible, join the group and try not to disturb the students or the teacher.
  2. An exam – exams are conducted by an external, accredited examination body. If you are late, the examiner may refuse you the right to participate in the examination. In this case, you will not receive a refund. If you wish to take the exam on another date, you must make another, paid booking.

If you have failed the VCA exam, you can retake it as follows:

  • There is no limit for taking the VCA exam
  • You can book at least 48 hours before the selected date of the next exam (this is the time required for the official application and issuance of the card entitling you to take the exam)

If you cannot participate in the exam for reasons beyond your control, such as Covid isolation (starting later than 48 hours before the exam), please contact us. Each situation will be considered individually.

If you want to submit a group for the exam, you have two options:

  1. Book your exams via the website. The person making the booking will receive a confirmation email and will be considered a representative of the group.
  2. Contact the VCA Talen office and submit your candidates for the exam. Do not forget the following details:
    1. Place and date of the exam
    2. Exam type and language
    3. Candidate details – first and last name and date of birth (the same as on the identity card)

You can download a sample application file for more candidates here.

After passing the exam, you will receive a copy of your diploma in an electronic form. It will be sent to the e-mail address provided at the time of ordering. If you have received a diploma and the details on it are incorrect, e.g. a typo or an incorrect date of birth, please notify VCA Talen immediately. If your request is sent within 14 days of taking the exam, a new diploma will be issued at no extra charge.

VCA mock tests are part of the regular course.

You can also get acquainted with the format of the exam thanks to the free VCA tests, or use the VCA test packages on the VCA EDU e-learning platform. The test packages on the platform also include one exam attempt, so there is no need to purchase an additional exam.

Stationary courses – these are classic courses where you have a direct contact with the teacher and can ask questions. An exam is held immediately after the course. Such a course requires reaching the place where it is held and spending a day.

Online courses – available on request. By purchasing the VCA e-learning course, you can start learning immediately. You decide how much time and at what time you spend on acquiring knowledge and taking trial tests. You assess your readiness to take the exam. You book at a convenient place and time.

If you have lost your VCA diploma, please contact us. An administrative fee must be paid to order a new diploma.

In 2023, every VCA and SOG student will receive the results of the exam digitally. You will also receive the diploma and corresponding pass digitally. You can have the VCA pass in your phone!
From 2023, no more paper diplomas and accompanying badges will be sent by post.

Would you like a diploma with the pass in the mailbox?

It remains possible that you will continue to receive diplomas on paper with the corresponding pass. Additional costs will apply.
